Back’s Blend Mixed Case celebrates two expressive coastal blends from Fairview wines.
Back’s Blend White 2025 combines Roussanne, Viognier and Sauvignon Blanc from Paarl and Darling. The team harvested the grapes early and fermented the clear juice in stainless steel to preserve freshness. The wine rested on fine lees for six months to build texture, while a small portion of oaked Chenin added richness. The result is a clean, fresh Cape white blend with tropical fruit depth and lemony lift.
Back’s Blend Red 2024 brings together Malbec from the southern slopes of Paarl Mountain and Shiraz from cooler Darling vineyards. Fermentation took place in stainless steel with regular pump-overs to extract colour and flavour. The wine matured for ten months in older French and American oak. It delivers ripe red fruit, soft structure and a smooth, velvety finish.
Together, this case offers versatility. It suits relaxed afternoons, casual dinners and gatherings where both white and red wine lovers feel equally at home.
