Fairview Caldera 2021
Medium red in colour with aromas of wild berries, plum, pepper and a hint of wild boegoe. The palate is light to medium bodied and fresh with red cherry and cracked pepper notes. The finish is long, dry and food-friendly.
Fairview Caldera 2023
Bright red in colour with aromas of wild berries, herbal fynbos and a touch of pepper. The palate is fresh and light to medium bodied with red cherry and spice. Subtle oak leads to a long, dry and slightly pithy finish.

The Fairview Caldera Vertical Case brings together two vintages of this Mediterranean-style blend. It offers a clear look at how the wine evolves over time.
Both wines combine Shiraz, Grenache Noir and Mourvèdre from selected vineyard sites. The team harvested the fruit early in the morning and sorted it by hand. Each component fermented separately in open-top French oak foudres. They added whole bunch Grenache Noir to enhance fruit and spice.
The wines matured in French oak, foudres and stainless steel for nine months before blending and bottling. Each vintage shows fresh fruit, spice and structure, with a dry, food-friendly finish.
