Shiraz – 10%
The Malbec grapes are grown on the southern slopes of Paarl Mountain and the Shiraz is from the cooler Darling region. The Paarl vineyards are trellised, drip irrigated and planted on granite rich soils. Paarl’s Mediterranean style climate is ideal for producing fruit forward red wines with accessibility and good mid pallet structure. The Darling Shiraz component adds interest, spice and depth in the fruity flavours.
