This case of six Fairview Bushvine Cinsault 2024 showcases a vibrant, easy-drinking red from 31-year-old bush vines planted in 1994 on the upper slopes of the Fairview farm. Dryland vines rooted in deep Oakleaf soils deliver naturally balanced fruit with bright, expressive red flavours. The vineyard team carefully manages the block with mulching, pruning, and crop control as it moves toward official Old Vine status.
The cellar team handpicked the grapes on 26 February and fermented them in open-top stainless-steel tanks using 20% whole bunches. Gentle punch-downs and pump-overs preserved freshness and purity. After fermentation, the team basket-pressed the skins and matured the wine for 10 months in older French oak. Light filtration followed before bottling, resulting in a fresh, perfumed Cinsault with a clean, modern finish.
