Fairview Chardonnay 2024 captures a classic and restrained Chardonnay style with freshness, texture, and elegance at its core. The fruit comes from trellised dryland vineyards influenced by cool coastal conditions, helping the wine retain vibrant acidity and refined fruit character.
The cellar team harvests the grapes before sunrise to preserve freshness and natural balance. A portion of the wine ferments in stainless steel for bright fruit expression, while the rest ferments in French oak barrels to add texture and complexity. Extended lees contact and regular battonage create a smooth, layered mouthfeel without overpowering the wine’s natural elegance.
