Tasting Notes
Pale green-yellow in the glass. Refreshing sweet floral notes with lemon and apricot on the nose. The palate shows a semi-dry entry with lime and stone-fruit flavours. Fresh citrussy acidity balances the natural residual sugar. Thanks to the cool vineyard site and good pH, this Riesling will develop for 3–5 years or longer, or can be enjoyed young.

The Fairview Darling Riesling 2024 comes from unirrigated vineyards outside Darling, planted in 2003 on dark red Oakleaf soils about 300 metres above sea level. The cool West Coast climate shapes the wine’s bright aromatics and natural acidity.
The grapes were picked early in the morning at 22.5° Balling and whole-bunch pressed. After two days of settling, the juice fermented in stainless steel at low temperatures. The team stopped fermentation early to retain natural sweetness.
Riesling 2024 is aromatic, refreshing and gently sweet. Lemon, apricot, lime and floral notes lead the palate, balanced by crisp acidity and soft residual sugar.
