Tasting Notes
The wine shows a pale straw colour with a delicate fizz. Fresh aromas of green pear, citrus and soft tropical fruit lift from the glass. The palate feels light and refreshing, with crisp acidity, gentle sweetness and zesty lime notes. The finish is clean and vibrant.

Fairview Fizzy Verdelho 2025 is made from 100% Verdelho grown on the slopes of the Fairview farm in southern Paarl. The vineyards enjoy warm summer days with cooling influences, which help keep the grapes fresh and balanced.
The team harvested the grapes in January 2025. They destalked and crushed the fruit, then settled the free-run juice for two days. The clear juice fermented cold in stainless steel tanks. After fermentation, the wine rested on fine lees to add texture and flavour. The team added a gentle fizz at bottling to lift freshness and enhance drinkability.
This wine follows a Portuguese-inspired Vinho Verde style. It offers low alcohol, bright acidity and a light, refreshing character. Fine bubbles give the wine energy and make it easy to enjoy well chilled.
