Fairview Granite Red 2024 is built around Shiraz, supported by Carignan, Grenache Noir, Tannat, Mourvèdre and Durif. The fruit comes from selected Coastal vineyards where maritime influence helps the grapes ripen evenly and retain freshness.
Each variety fermented separately in stainless steel to preserve purity of fruit. Gentle pump-overs enhanced colour and structure. After fermentation, the wine matured in seasoned French and American oak barrels, adding subtle spice without overpowering the blend.
Shiraz delivers dark fruit depth and peppery character. The supporting varieties add lift, texture and balance. The result is a polished, fruit-forward South African red wine that reflects the character of Fairview wines.
