Fairview Grenache Blanc 2024 is crafted from three carefully selected vineyards, each adding something special to the wine. From Paarl’s granite soils come ripe fruit and body. Darling contributes freshness and floral lift, thanks to its cool ocean breezes. And from Piekenierskloof, home to South Africa’s oldest block of Grenache Blanc, come crisp acidity, herbal notes, and a clean mineral edge.
The grapes were hand-harvested in the cool mornings of late February 2024, then gently pressed to capture pure fruit character. Only the free-run juice was used, fermented in both stainless steel and seasoned French oak. While the Paarl and Darling portions developed texture and creaminess on lees, the Piekenierskloof component stayed unoaked to keep its vibrant freshness. After ten months, the wines were blended to create a beautifully layered final expression.
The result is a white wine that feels both refreshing and sophisticated. Bursting with fruit yet structured with minerality, it’s made to shine with food.
