Fairview Malbec 2025 comes from vineyards on the southern slopes of Paarl Mountain. Here, rich granite soils and the warm Mediterranean-style climate help produce generous, fruit-driven wines. The vineyards are 12 years old and benefit from supplementary drip irrigation.
The team harvests the grapes at the end of February. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks for around ten days. During this time, regular pump-overs help draw out colour and fruit flavour. Afterwards, the wine completes malolactic fermentation in older French and American oak barrels, as well as in tank. The team then matures the wine for ten months before blending and bottling.
