Fairview OVP Steen 2024 Case of 6 celebrates the unique character of old vine Chenin Blanc. This collection brings together six bottles of a wine crafted from carefully selected vineyards planted in 1962 and 1974, showcasing the depth and complexity that only mature vines can deliver.
The winemaking team hand-picks the grapes early in the morning and gently whole-bunch presses them. They ferment the wine in a combination of amphora, older French oak barrels, and stainless steel tanks. The wine then spends 10 months on the lees before the final blend comes together. This approach builds texture, complexity, and balance while allowing the old vine fruit to shine.
