Fairview Rosé Quartz 2025 is named after the pink quartz soils on Paarl Mountain that inspire its pale colour. The blend brings together Grenache Noir from terraced slopes, old bush-vine Cinsault from Diamant farm, and Carignan from shale soils near Malmesbury. Each grape adds something unique: freshness from Cinsault, fruit purity from Grenache, and structure from Carignan.
After harvest, the grapes were whole-bunch pressed and fermented in separate parcels. Grenache and Cinsault fermented in stainless steel to keep their freshness, while Carignan spent time in older oak barrels for added texture. All components rested on the lees for three months before blending.
The wine shows a pale pink hue with aromas of red summer berries, stone fruit, and blood orange. Crisp acidity and a mineral edge create freshness, while gentle oak influence adds a smooth mouthfeel. The finish is dry, clean, and balanced.
