The blend brings together Shiraz, Mourvèdre, Durif, Grenache, Tempranillo and Cinsault from Fairtrade vineyards in Paarl, Stellenbosch and Swartland. These vineyards grow in granite-rich soils and deliver fruit with vibrant colour and flavour. Each variety goes through its own harvest and fermentation cycle, which keeps the wine lively and layered. In 2024 the goats roamed wider, and the team added small parcels from other sites to make up for drought losses while still keeping the classic Goats Do Roam character.
