Sold as a case of six bottles, Goats Do Roam White 2024 is best enjoyed chilled. It pairs beautifully with grilled fish, roast chicken, seafood pasta, or soft cheeses. Simple, bright, and expressive, it shows why the Goats Do Roam range continues to be one of Fairview’s most loved wines.
In the glass, this white blend shows a pale lemon colour with a light green tint. The nose offers tropical fruit, citrus, and floral notes, while the palate is crisp, fresh, and fruit-driven with a clean finish. Its balance of fruit and acidity makes it both easy-drinking and food-friendly.
Goats Do Roam White 2024 is made from grapes sourced mainly from vineyards in Paarl, with smaller parcels from Darling. The decomposed granite soils give the wine purity and freshness, while the warm climate brings ripe fruit character.
Harvesting took place from the last week of January to early February 2024. Each variety was destemmed and pressed before fermentation in stainless-steel tanks at cool temperatures to preserve its natural aromas. The wine then remained on its lees for a short period before blending and bottling, adding texture and balance.
