A workhorse of grapes in South Africa, used in sparkling wine and brandy production, Chenin Blanc is a treasure that has become more fashionable in recent years. Inviting aromas of tropical fruit, pineapple and melon on the nose. Flavours of summer fruits and citrus, with smooth texture and balanced acidity on the palate – absolutely delicious.

The grapes were destemmed and gently crushed. The juice was allowed to settle for 2 days, then racked off the lees and cold fermented in stainless steel tanks. Post fermentation, the wine was left on the fine lees for 8 months before bottling. A youthful, fresh wine from South Africa’s signature grape.
