La Capra Chenin Blanc 2024 draws fruit from Paarl and Darling, two regions known for producing expressive Chenin Blanc. The wine opens with tropical notes of guava and pineapple, then moves into lemon, lime and sweet pear on the palate. Fresh acidity keeps the style bright and energetic.
The team destemmed and gently crushed the grapes. The juice settled for two days before they racked it off the lees and began cold fermentation in stainless steel tanks. After fermentation, the wine rested on fine lees for eight months to build texture while staying youthful and fresh.

Good Chenin Blanc but starting to lose a bit of its fruitiness. Still very drinkable though and a bargain at the price.
