Grapes were de-stalked, crushed and fermented in stainless steel tanks. Post fermentation, the wine was pressed off the skins, transferred to older French and American barrels and matured for 12 months before blending and bottling.
Unique to South Africa, Pinotage is a wine of opulence and drinkability. Enjoy a raspberry and cherry nose and red berry fruitiness on the palate with a gentle refreshing acidity. Firm tannins and a hint of vanilla that lingers on the finish.
