The Red Blends Mixed Case of 12 is a chance to explore just how much character a blend can offer. Six wines bring together different varieties and vineyard sites. With two bottles of each, there is also another bottle waiting when you find a favourite.
Broken Barrel Red TnT 2024 combines Tempranillo, Tannat and Durif. The team ferments each component separately before basket pressing. The wine then spends 16 months in French and American oak, bringing together dark fruit, spice and structure.
Fairview Granite Red 2025 comes from selected Coastal Region vineyards. Each parcel ferments separately to retain its own character. The team matures selected components in seasoned oak while keeping others in tank for freshness.
Fairview Back’s Blend Red 2025 combines 80% Malbec with 20% Shiraz. Regular pump-overs during fermentation build colour and fruit expression. Afterwards, the wine matures in older French and American oak, as well as in tank.
Goats do Roam Red 2025 brings together six varieties, led by Shiraz. Each vineyard block ferments individually before maturation in seasoned oak and tank. This approach keeps the fruit fresh while adding gentle texture and structure.
The Goatfather 2024 takes its inspiration from Italian varieties, with Sangiovese at the heart of the blend. Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz and Merlot complete the wine. The team keeps each variety separate during oak maturation before creating the final blend.
Finally, Goat-Roti 2022 combines 98% Shiraz with 2% Viognier. The Paarl fruit ferments together with Viognier, while the Darling Shiraz ferments separately. After pressing, the wine spends 18 months in French and American oak.
