The team handpicked the grapes and stopped fermentation with pot-stilled brandy spirit to retain natural sweetness. The wine matured for 10–12 months in older French oak, with a portion of reserve sweet wine adding depth. Expect plum, raisin and warm fruitcake spice with a smooth, sweet finish.
Landskroon Cape Vintage 2022 comes from the south-western slopes of Paarl Mountain. Crafted from traditional Portuguese varieties, it matured for 20 months in old French oak. The wine shows deep colour, spicy black prunes and tobacco on the nose, followed by rich, concentrated berry flavours and a velvety texture.
