Crunchy red fruit and lifted aromatics lead on the nose. Grenache brings juicy red berries, Shiraz adds warm spice, and Cinsault contributes a soft floral lift. The palate feels vibrant and refined, finishing clean and fresh.
This case includes six bottles of Spice Route Limited Edition Red Blend 2022, a wine that reflects the bold, expressive style of Spice Route. Fruit comes mainly from Paarl and the Swartland, where decomposed granite soils support freshness and clarity. Grenache and Cinsault grow partly as bush vines, while trellised vineyards add structure and balance.
The cellar team fermented each component separately in stainless-steel tanks. Regular pump-overs built colour and flavour. The team blended the wine shortly after fermentation in May 2022. Ageing took place in stainless steel to preserve purity and fruit expression. The final wine shows bright fruit, gentle perfume, and an elegant, easy-drinking finish.
