The palate is medium bodied and smooth, with fresh red and black fruit supported by gentle oak, fine tannins and lively acidity. Sangiovese brings brightness and savoury lift, Cabernet Sauvignon adds structure, Shiraz contributes spice, and Merlot rounds out the texture for a balanced, food-friendly finish.

The Goatfather 2024 Case of 6 includes six bottles of this expressive Coastal red blend made from Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz and Merlot. Fruit from selected Coastal Region vineyard sites gives the wine its balance of freshness, structure and generous flavour.
The grapes were harvested during February and March 2024. The team de-stalked and lightly crushed the fruit before fermentation in stainless steel tanks. After malolactic fermentation, the components matured in oak barrels. Each variety remained separate until blending, helping preserve character and balance. The wine was lightly filtered before bottling.
