This case includes six bottles of The Goatfather 2022, a blend of Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon chosen by Don Goatti for its character and versatility. The style leans toward the Mediterranean, with freshness, structure, and food appeal at its core.
The team de-stalked and lightly crushed the grapes before fermenting the juice in stainless-steel tanks. After malolactic fermentation, each component moved to 225-litre barrels for maturation. The wine spent 15 months in a mix of French and American oak, mainly second-, third-, and fourth-fill barrels, allowing the fruit to remain central. The team matured the components separately before blending them to match Don Goatti’s vision. Light filtration followed before bottling. The result is a confident, well-balanced red with depth, finesse, and ageing potential.
